A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR KADAVU
AND VATU-I-RA PASSAGES.
Situation: A weakening trough of low pressure remains over
the northeastern parts of Fiji and is gradually moving east away
from the group. Associated cloud and showers are expected to
affect the country later today.
Forecast to midnight tonight for Fiji waters: For Kadavu and
Vatu-i-ra passages: Southeast winds 20 to 25 knots. Rough
seas. Moderate southeast swells
Further outlook: Southeast winds 20 to 25 knots. Rough seas.
Moderate southeast swells
For the rest of Fiji Waters: East to southeast winds 15 to 20
knots. Moderate to rough seas. Moderate southeast swells.
Further outlook: Southeast winds 20 to 25 knots. Rough seas.
