Issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi at
5:30am on Wednesday the 8th of July 2020
Situation: A trough of low pressure remains slow moving over
the northern parts of Fiji. Associated cloud and showers affects
the northern and eastern parts of the group. Showers expected
to gradually affect the rest of the group from later today.
Forecast to midnight tonight for Fiji waters: East to southeast
winds 15 to 20 knots. Moderate to rough seas.
Further outlook: For Kadavu and Vatu-i-ra passage, Koro sea
and Southern Lau waters: East to southeast winds 15 to 25
knots. Moderate to rough seas.
For rest of Fiji waters: East to southeast winds 15 to 20 knots.
Moderate to rough seas.
