A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR ALL FIJI
WATERS.
Situation: A high pressure system to the far south of the
country continues to direct a fresh to strong southeast wind flow
over Fiji waters.
Forecast to midnight tonight for Fiji waters: For Northern Vanua
Levu Waters, Yasawa and Mamanuca waters, Southwest Viti Levu
waters, Kadavu and Vatu-I-Ra passages Southeasterly winds 25
to 30 knots. Rough to very rough seas. Moderate southerly swells
Further outlook: Southeasterly winds 25 to 30 knots. Rough to
very rough seas. Moderate southerly swells.
For the rest of Fiji Waters: Southeasterly winds 20 to 25 knots.
Rough seas. Moderate southeasterly swells.
