A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR KADAVU
AND VATU-I-RA PASSAGE AND SOUTHERN LAU WATERS.
Situation: An active trough of low pressure with cloud and
showers remains slow moving over the group. Meanwhile,
a high pressure system to the far south of Fiji directs a fresh
to strong east to southeast wind flow over the group.
Forecast to midnight tonight for Fiji waters: For Kadavu and
Vatu-i-Ra Passage and southern Lau waters: East to southeast
winds 20 to 25 knots. Winds easing from today. Rough seas.
Moderate southerly swells.
Further outlook: Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Moderate
to rough seas. Moderate southerly swells.
For the rest of Fiji waters: East to southeast winds 15 to 20
knots. Moderate to rough seas. Moderate southerly swells.
Further Outlook Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Moderate to
