A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR
SOUTHERN LAU WATERS, KADAVU AND VATU-I-RA
PASSAGES.
Situation: A high pressure system to the far south of Fiji directs
a strong east to southeast wind flow over Fiji waters.
Forecast to midnight tonight for Fiji waters: For southern Lau
waters, Kadavu and Vatu-i-Ra Passages: East to southeast
winds 20 to 25 knots. Rough seas. Moderate southerly swells.
Further outlook: Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Moderate
to rough seas. Moderate southerly swells.
For the rest of Fiji waters: East to southeast winds 15 to
20 knots. Moderate to rough seas. Moderate southerly swells.
Further Outlook Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Moderate
