5:30am on Wednesday the 9th of September 2020
A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR ALL FIJI
WATERS.
Situation: A high pressure system to the far south directs a
strong southeast wind flow over Fiji Waters. Meanwhile, a trough
of low pressure is approaching the group from the north and is
expected to affect parts of the country from today.
Forecast to midnight tonight for Fiji waters: Easterly winds 20
to 25 knots. Rough seas. Moderate southeast swells.
Further outlook: East to northeasterly winds 15 to 20 knots.
Moderate to rough seas. Moderate southeast swells.

Savusavu today. Cloudy periods with some showers. Showers
becoming frequent from later today.
Outlook for Thursday : Occasional showers and possible
thunderstorms.
