1] Fiji Met's Marine Weather Forecast;-
Issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi at
5:30am on Thursday the 1st of October 2020
Situation: A trough of low pressure with cloud and showers
affects the eastern parts of the group. It is expected to drift
eastwards and clear from the group by afternoon today.
Meanwhile, a moist northeast to southeast wind flow prevails
over the country. Another tough of low pressure is expected
to approach from the west and affect the group from Saturday.
Forecast to midnight tonight for Fiji waters: Northeast to
southeast winds 10 to 15 knots, winds increasing to 15 to 20
knots and becoming predominantly southerly from later today.
Moderate seas. Moderate southwesterly swells.
Further outlook: Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Moderate to
rough seas. Moderate southwesterly swells.
