Issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi at
5:30am on Wednesday the 30th of September 2020
Situation: An active trough of low pressure approaches from the
west of the group, it is expected to affect the group from later
tomorrow. Another weak trough of low pressure with cloud and
showers continues to affect the country. Meanwhile, a moist
northeasterly wind flow prevails over Fiji waters.
Forecast to midnight tonight for Fiji waters: Northeasterly winds
15 to 20 knots, winds becoming predominantly southerly from
later tomorrow. Moderate to rough seas. Moderate southwesterly
swells.
Further outlook: Southerly winds 15 to 20 knots. Moderate to
rough seas. Moderate southwesterly swells developing.

Savusavu today. Occasional showers with isolated heavy falls
especially in the afternoon or evening. Showers gradually increasing
to rain from later today
Outlook for Thursday : Occasional showers with isolated heavy falls
and thunderstorms.
